AJ Lambert

Granddaughter of Frank Sinatra and daughter of Nancy, AJ Lambert’s style and interpretations of both standards and modern music alike is truly her own.

Singing the American songbook as she understands it: great music written by great writers, no matter what era it’s from.

Her monthly shows at The Space in Las Vegas showcase both ends of the spectrum, from modern classics by David Bowie and Liz Phair to the standards of Harold Arlen and Duke Ellington.

She is currently working on an album of music that features her unique interpretations of songs by modern artists like Spoon, TV on the Radio and John Cale, and also her versions of some of her grandfather’s deep cuts from albums like “Only The Lonely.”

Bio

Rick Keller continues to explore and develop his musical voice. Both , a sought after sideman and an artist composing and pursuing his own projects define the commitment to creative expression so vital to him. Rick has a unique personal style to express the emotion created while he performs his compositions with his group. Seventeen years as a young saxophonist living in central Europe combined with the past 16 years in Los Angeles and now Las Vegas resulted in an impressive list of credits both live and recording.

Sit With Me

Sit With Me was created by members of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), a non-profit coalition that works to increase the meaningful participation of girls and women in computing fields and careers. We invite you to validate and recognize the important role women play in creating future technology by taking a small but symbolic action: sit in a red chair and share your story.

Sitting in the Red Chair:

Paige Lion, Vice President of IT and CIO,  she is responsible for driving the implementation of large scale IT-related initiatives for the gaming company and its 11 casinos located in Nevada, Colorado, Missouri and Iowa. No stranger to the hospitality and gaming industry, Lion previously worked for Caesars Entertainment for 22 years starting as a senior project manager, then market technology manager and regional technology director, before assuming her final position as divisional director of IT and business engagement. She most recently served as vice president senior program manager for JP Morgan Chase in Tampa, Florida. Lion graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor of science in quantitative business analysis and minor in computer science and statistics. Paige is passionate about technology, our Las Vegas community and values the what the iconic Red Chair symbolizes. She strives to be a force for women in technology and will sit in the Red Chair to reinforce that women in technology need more seats at the table, that men and women can sit in support and solidarity for technical women and values that one highly visible action can instigate others.

John Lloyd Young Returns To The Space!

Tony Award winner JOHN LLOYD YOUNG originated the role of “Frankie Valli” in Broadway’s Tony Award winning Best Musical and international hit, JERSEY BOYS. As Valli, Young garnered unprecedented accolades from New York and national media, including one of the most exciting New York Times reviews ever written for an actor making a Broadway debut. Mr. Young went on to win the Lead Actor Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Awards, becoming the only American actor in history to win all four leading actor awards for a Broadway debut. Mr. Young sings lead vocals on the Platinum, Grammy Award-winning JERSEY BOYS Original Cast Album. Young’s other honors for JERSEY BOYS include a caricature at the world-famous Sardi’s Restaurant, being named Person of the Week by ABC World News Tonight, and being chosen for prestigious “Best of ” lists by Entertainment Weekly, Reader’s Digest and The New York Times.
Young re-created his award-winning Broadway turn onscreen for director Clint Eastwood in Warner Brothers’ film adaptation of JERSEY BOYS, which premiered across the world in 2014.
In 2013, John Lloyd Young was appointed by Barack Obama to the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities. He was sworn in at the Supreme Court of the United States by Justice Elena Kagan.

“Las Vegas’ First Lady of Jazz” Michelle Johnson stars in “Happy Birthday Ella”.  An intimate concert paying tribute to the great Ella Fitzgerald. The show happens on the eve of what would have been Ella’s 101st birthday, and features a world class jazz trio and some special guests.  Come and hear the songs that made Ella great, and find out some things you may not have known about her. GS702 graciously invites you to be one of the first to experience the premiere the of Miss Gay Nevada America drag pageant.

The Miss Gay America pageantry system has been around for 47 years, and this is the first time Nevada is officially represented.  In addition to making history, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to our charity of choice Be Brave.
